Istanbul to Cappadocia After your arrival to Istanbul, you will proceed to check in Domestic Flight. Our Guide will meet & greet you at Kayseri Airport. Next, transfer to Cappadocia. Kaymakli Underground City Kaymakli, one of the major underground cities of Cappadocia, consists of 8 floors. However, as in many underground cities, not all floors are open to tourists. In the city, the first floor is separated for the animals to go out easily. Establish a connection between the churches and other living spaces with the corridors separated from the stables. Kaymakli Underground City, which has astounding sections such as warehouses, kitchens, cemeteries, mughouse, and copper processing workshop, still contains hidden underground tunnels that have not been fully revealed. Uchisar Castle Uchisar rock castle is one of the biggest landmarks of Cappadocia. It is the highest tuff hill in the area with beautiful views of the surrounding valley full of bizarre rock formations. (There are no any visit to rock castle because of the walking difficulties and safety risks on there. You will have a stop for panoramic view to this rock castle and Cappadocia from castle region.) Pigeon Valley Which is located in Uchisar town to have one of the best panaromic viev of the region. That site also covers lots of pigeon houses which are builty bye the ancient inhabitants of the region. If you like, you can able to visit popular onxy stone factory of the region.
Cappadocia Balloon Tours Hot Air Balloon Ride (INCLUDED) : Get ready for a wonderful experience unique to Cappadocia! We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the balloon site where you will have the opportunity to watch the balloon being prepared for your flight. The flight will be at sunrise time, where your pilot will climb to a comfortable altitude of about 700 meters above ground level. It is from this elevation that you will marvel at the beauty of Cappadocia below you. During certain segments of the flight our pilots are also capable of flying as low as 1 meter above the rock formations which will allow you perfect photo taking opportunities. Duration of total activity is approx 3 hours, and total duration of flight is approx 60 minutes. There will be a champagne celebration at end of the flight and you will be presented with a madal, as a souvenir reminder of this magnificent experience. Goreme Open Air Museum is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Avanos Oren Yeri Avanos is the town of traditional pottery art, thus. You will visit one of the family work-shops in Avanos to have some information about the pottery and have a kick-wheel-pottery demonstration. Also, you will take your lunch in one of the traditional restaurants in Avanos. Fairy Chimneys On this tour, you will have seen many examples of the Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia. Ürgüp Meet the most famous family of fairy chimneys: Three beauties. These are the official symbol of both Urgup and Cappadocia. Devrent Valley Which is also known as Imagination Valley. Valley contains many animal shaped rocks which are mostly in red colour. Some of the most frequent shapes is like Camel.
Cappadocia to Istanbul After you enjoyed your breakfast at the hotel. Our Driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Airport. Your new Local Guide in Istanbul will meet & greet you in Istanbul Airport. Drive to Taksim Square. Taksim Square Taksim Square / Taksim Meydanı A great place defining modern Turkey which witnessed important historical moments. Close to Istiklal Street (Istiklal Caddesi) and Galata Tower along with embassies of European countries in Taxim. Cicek Passage has very good food joints, cafes, shops, bars, night clubs around Taksim. Istiklal Caddesi Istiklal Street is the modern and colorful face of Turkey with churches, modern art galeries, embassies, pubs, cafes and shops selling different kind of products. Today is the day for Old City of Istanbul Blue Mosque Blue Mosque / Sultanahmet Camii built in the early 1600s for Sultan Ahmet I of the Ottoman Empire, the Blue Mosque is truly a magnificent masterpiece of architecture with amazingly delicate proportions for a building of such massive scale. Hippodrome Hippodrome Square / Atmeydanı Hippodrome; where the chariot races were held in the Roman Empire times, Egyptian Column from Byzantine Empire time and today German Fountain is the main cornerstone of the square of Ottoman Empire. Hagia Sophia Mosque Hagia Sophia Museum / Ayasofya / Santa Sofia Built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian, played a very important role in the Christian and Islamic World. After the Ottoman conquest the bells, altar, iconoclastic, and sacrificial vessels were removed, and many of the mosaics were eventually plastered over to convert the church into a mosque then a museum and now it’s a mosque for the second time. The most important stop of an Istanbul tour is operated in Old City Istanbul / Constantinople. *Please note that as it's not a museum anymore, tour guides don't have skip-the-line priority there. You may need to wait in the security line, in order to avoid queues we suggest departing at 8:30am or 9:00am.
