This route will delight nature lovers and those who appreciate finer things in life, taking them from a secluded peninsula home to Madagascar’s most abundant biodiversity to the luxurious elegance of Miavana.
Have a great trip!
You will be driven to your lodging in Antananarivo, also referred to as Tana, when you land at the airport. You are going to have the rest of the day to yourself.
Following breakfast, you'll head to the airport in Ivato to catch your charter aircraft to Anjajavy, where you'll be met and shown to your lodging.
Anjajavy le Lodge has 24 opulent villas surrounded by a biologically diverse forest reserve. Numerous bird species, chameleons, lemurs of all kinds, and other critically endangered plant and animal species can be found in abundance here.
Take a walking excursion to the "crab highway" to start your day. The hike culminates at a small cove where you can view several fossils, as well as colorful wildlife and the recognizable baobab trees in addition to the famous hairy crabs.
After lunch, head back to your accommodation for a leisurely afternoon.
The tour today brings you to view the tsingy, or eroded limestone pinnacles, along King's Avenue and the Giant's Causeway. Along the route, you'll come across a variety of lemurs and other rich wildlife as well as some locally distinctive Madagascan plants and animals.
After lunch, head back to your resort for a relaxing afternoon.
After taking your private charter aircraft to Diego Suarez, you will be met by Miavana personnel and driven in a private helicopter to Nosy Ankao.
With 14 opulent private villas overlooking the beach and Indian Ocean, Time + Tide Miavana is an isolated island refuge, the largest of five islands in a reef-protected archipelago.
You have a ton of options for excursions and activities within the resort during the next three days, including their exclusive Blue Safari activities. Activities offered as extras include fishing, boat trips, cycling, cultural events, scuba diving and snorkeling, watersports, guided lemur trekking, and nature hikes. Helicopter trips are an extra option at a higher fee.
You will take a helicopter back to Diego Suarez this morning in order to board your private charter flight to Tana, where you will be helped to board your next flight. (Depending on your subsequent plans, you may also choose to depart internationally from Nosy Be.)
